What needs to be done to these style pickups for them to lay. I'm looking at buying one and would like to bag it in the future. Just going with stock rims and tires.

I'm mainly conserned with the front. Are drop spindles nessesary? Control arms? Any issues with stearing components?

Also, it's an externed cab if that makes a difference.

And can the stock gas tank location be used when using a 2 link. I remember reading that the gas tank needs to be sectioned.

its fairly simple, just replace your front springs with the bagz, and relocate the shocks to outside of the control arms,, and the back has to be notched like any other truck, and you have to link it and cut up the bed and all. as far as the gas tank is concerned, mines still stock, but i have a four link setup, so it might be different

spindles are usually good so your not pulling as much negative camber and you have to notch for you tie rod but that is about it you wont need to get into a arms until you go with some bigger wheels i layed fine on 18's with sotck control arms moved up too 22's and had to buy some tubular ones

U should get spindles. The stock control arms will work. As far as steering components, notch your frame for tie rods. The gas tank will drag when u drive low or drag but i havent had any problems with mine being stock.
