werd, thats what i wanted to do, but cant drop the motor low enough, already 5/8 from the ground, i used the molding that street beat customs gives with their ragtops, its just like door trim only way more flexible and easier to bend, give them a call, maybe they will sell you some of it, i was running the door trim that everyone else does but found this stuff and it is by far better, also its flat black so it looks great. heres a pic.its kind of far away but you get the idea. more pics in my pofile.

Check out mcmastercarr.com page 3483. They have many sizes to choose from I use part number 8451A22 for bed floors, it be cool for hoods too. 38 cents a foot....can't beat that. unless you buy a roll at 31 cents I guess. lol

scratch that. the website is just mcmaster.com and I looked at the wrong p/n I use p/n 8451A11 I think it's about 45 cents a foot. 8451A22 would probably be better for a hood though.

Go to your local glass shop they should be able to help you out. There is one brand that I know of that we put around the bottom of fiberglass runnig boards, it was called Trim Lock and it is about 3/8 wide. I have it around the wheel cut outs in my bed.
