gettin power to the inline fuel pump with a fuel cell..

ok so i think i figured out all of the fuel lines and shit i got everything hooked up but i dont know how to power the fuel pump exactly..i knwo where the relay is for the regular fuel pump so do i just do negative to a ground and then power to the relay and if so how do i put the wire into that relay..like which wire i have to splice in or w/e it is i need to do help would be GREAT here..im stuckk..

You replaced the original tank? because on a 2600i the pump is in the tank. If you used the same snder/pump setup, just extend the wires, it will work. If you didnt use the same sender/pump, I'll assume you got an external fuel pump. So just use the positive wire from the relay, the pump negative just goes to ground.

In essence, exactly what you were saying. But just use the stock wire on the rear frame and extend it from there.

alright russ i got u.. i tried A) usin stock wiring wired positive to the red wire and ground to the 2 black wires that were fused together..then i tried B) hookin the positive to the red wire on the rear section again and grounding it all to the frame...then C) runnin the positive to the relay and ground to the frame..none of these worked...but i didnt know which wire to wire the positive to on the relay so maybe thats the problem...so wut colors should i be mathcin up..im fuckin real confused..

or it might even be i hooked up my damn fuel cell wrong..its all possible...so can u jsut tell me the way to do that..

I have a whole fuelie rear harness in the garage, I'll track down a wire color for you tonight.
