Anyone ASE certified?

i`m ase certified in brakes, steering and suspension, electic and electronics, and engine performance

I'm mainly goin to get mine in autobody b/c I need to for my school to get more grants..and I get a pay raise..and it looks better on paper..

i am ase certified took the 2 year program at the tech school.

I live in st louis mo I am ase master certified in collision and refinishing. The test is not hard just read the questions carefully and you should be ok. I got the study books from Motor Age and they didn't help a bit. Each test probably had 3 or 4 questions that pertained to the material covered in the books. I took all the tests at once and had an hour to spare. In the real world being certified dosen't mean much because your work speaks for itself. It will however give you an egde on getting in the door to a new shop.

ASE and I-Car cert in Autobody and collision repair and electrical.. dont matter around here, all anybody hires is people that will work for a slaves wage around here..that can do a half ass job.. Skills and Fancy Paper means more $$ out of there poket in this shit hole Village..
