autometer guages

i just bought a nissan today that has autometer guages.the only guage hooked up is the tack and voltmeter.how do i hook up the speedo and the watertemp??i have the instructions but would like some imput from someone whose done this..its an 89 nissan hardbody with the z24 motor and 5 speed manual trannny..help fast,,thnks

call autometer... stop sounding like a whiney little girl. if you were paying for help then whining like this might be tolerated, but you sound like you just started your period and you want your daddy to rub your tits.

the speedometer is mechanical.i know that for a fact,i jus need to know if i can get an adapter cable or if i have to get a whole new cable.im just looking for help not dickhead remarks..thnks in advance

You need a fitting( adapter that will thread onto your trans speedo output. Call Autometer tech.The other gauge if there's just two post on the back it's electric,& you need to use your stock sender wires.If it has a capillary tube ( a hard line w/ a bulb tpye thing at the end,you will need a fitting that goes from that tread to the metric one on the engine block!
