Couple quick qustions before I cut into mine... In the 97+ generation of kotas, when Zing do you have to remove the motor/trans to weld up the Zed portion of the frame? Also is it easiest to do on the ground... So when you cut your frame do you just let the rear portion of the frame fall on the ground or is their a trick to lower it slow and straight? Also I have a 3.9...

Thanks in advance

i cut the bracing out around the intake part over the throttle body, and around the a/c lines, radiator hose, sectioned the radiator hose bracket to lower the radiator hose, and cut the intake part that bolted to the throttle body and made it 3/4" shorter. that way my hood would close with a 3" bodydrop.

i welded some pieces of some angle iron on the frame setup 4 bottle jacks took 10,000,000 mesurements cut and jacked.

And printed out every pic of chris's "Z" for reference. My god how much he has helped me. Terry as well. Back to the beer later.
