when I use my left turn signal it works just fine untill I step on the brakes. When I step on the brakes the turn signal stops blinking and the brake light goes out, this only happens on the left side. Ive checked the grounds and the bulbs. Im not sure what else to check. Any ideas?

the harness apears to be in good shape. I went through it when it was out of the truck and has worked right in the past. Although I cant be 100% sure its not a broken or touching wire without pulling the whole rear harness. Any other suggestions?

those are two separate systems (brake and turn) that are only connected by the ground. Make sure you arent using those POS altezza or aftermarket light buckets (like the ones they send with the clear/red tails), the harnesses on them are garbage.

If you are having a problem with the rear harness, rest easier knowing that the whole shebang just plugs in right inside the cab behind the passenger side of the seat.

I had the harness out at one point, inspected it, put new tape on, put it back in the truck and it worked great. The truck sat for about a year without really driving it. I started it up every now and then. Then I got it licensed again and the problem is there. So I guess the next step is replacing it.also its the stock mazda light harness. no altezzas.
