wiring up a b2000 with a b2200 harness

i've been told numerous times that its possible. I have connected everything that can be connected plug to plug but i have 3 wires that don't have something to plug into .

i have power to:headlights4waysdome lighthorn starterbattery

don't have power to :ignition no lights on the dash at crank ( no battery light,oil light etc) no crank over .no power to the coil on either terminalno wipersno turnsignals



i think it has to do with those 3 wires that aren't pluged into something . any ideas fellas?
