making a 4x4 into 2wd

I have a 97 chevy ext. cab 4x4. I would like to make it 2wd. Yes I know I should have just bought a 2wd, and i still owe on it cus i bought it a year ago. So whats involved in doing this. Please any help would be cool. Thanks
