Stock Floor Body Drop

I know how to do the original body drop by cutting up along side the inside of the cab.I was wanting to try and just cut up through the transmission tunnel (looks a little simplier)do i still have to cut the bed out like the original way?and the frame horns also?NEED HELP WITH IT ALL
