help please

i know this post is out of place but no one in the audio forum will answer me what is a good headunit for around 200-300 dollars i have a alpine 60x4 the one that is like almost 600 dollars but it reads some cds and not some it is like 2 yrs old and i want a new one i have xm radio so it has to be compatible can some one please help me
