i need as much information as i can get on where to mount shocks up front. The only information i can find is the mini-truckin article they did a while back, which i will be going by unless anyone has any other suggestions. i already have the shocks, has anyone used a kit that came with mounts or am i going to have to make my own? i would just like to see where everyone is mounting theirs?

Put it behind the arm. as close to the arm as possible, and about mid way through the arm length wise.

nevermind it just made sense, do the shocks need to be fully compressed when the truck is laid out or should there be some play left?

I'd set them up bottomed out. Get more travel out of them.

alright, thanks.
also, do you know anyone that has pics of mounts that they have bought or made on a 89-95 or any pics of everything installed?

or just go get the parts pack from a set of rear shocks from a 85 cutlass supreme, it has the shock mounts that work mint .
