Sorry to dig this thread back up guys but
Last week I notch my frame cause I got sick of my axle bottoming on it.
So now that that problem is fixed I have a new one
The drive shaft is rubbing the xmember under the cab real bad
I am sitting on a pulled middle leaf and 3in NOn-Angled blocks.
Two questions
1 If I switch to a angled block that will pitche the angle of the driveshaft down more will this help the problem?
2 Can I notch that xmember a lil or I am asking for trouble?
My truck is a 92 std cab one piece drive shaft.
Thanks
Cut the crossmember. Build a new one below the driveshaft for now.
Wouldnt I drag through the x member if its under the frame?
Look at this one. Works if you dont get a shitload of lift.
Its right up by the plastic sheet.
when i had my shit mono leafed, bump stops removed, and 3 inch blocks my driveshaft had pleanty of room.. also had the torsions removed..
weird
mine hit when i hit serious bumps also when i carry any type of loading(soon to be stopped n da future)
