another reason i hate fords (funny story)

my friend came over to my house to see the progress on my truck but the battery was dead. so i grab the jumper cables and put my end on my truck he puts his end on his f-150. i turn the key and nothing. the girls start freaking out and tell me the battery is smoking so i pull off the cables which are now a billion degrees and realize that my friend put his on backward because FORD has a BLACK plastic cover on the POSITIVE battery terminal and a RED wire coming from the NEGATIVE terminal, STOCK! he doesnt have a system or anything its just retarded. now granted the guy could have looked at the + and - symbols but it should be really really obvious to avoid situations like this in my opinion. oh well just thought i would share
