"I posted this up on MTZ awhile back so I thought I'd share my story with you all"

Well I had to make the subject sound exciting...well my girlfriend just became potential wifey material after what she did tonight. For those who don't know but I just recently lost my father. He was my biggest supporter when it came to my Ranger and all the crazy ideas I've come up with through the years. Well it seems that Clara has stepped up to the challenge of supporting a minitrucker boyfriend. She called me up and told me she made a post on our club's site. Here's what she wrote:

I have to confess, before I met John "BigKuntre" I never got the minitruckin thing. See back when I was in high school my friends and I would make fun of all the people sitting in parking lots with their trucks and cars that were 2 or 3 different colors. I always thought, why? What's the point of that? Their rides look like shit. Well, I would like to think since then I've gotten older and a little wiser. While I've been with John I'm beginning to understand, because while I've made fun of all those people and what their rides looked like, I bet every single one of those guys took so much pride for they had. They were out there showing off what new ideas or plans they have, showing off what new things they have done to the motor, the inside, or something as simple as new headlights. Not once did I ever think of the time, hard work, or the amount of money that actually goes into these trucks. When I see John or Jason down in the garage working on their trucks listening in the background to what ideas they have. I must say sometimes I get blown away and think "Wow I never would have thought of that, I mean tractor seats in a truck?" Once I saw it, I got it. The best part of being down there is looking at his facial expression when he gets something done, the excitement in his eyes and the smile on his face when he is tring to explain something to me. It makes me wish that I was rich so he can get his truck done and on the road. I've looked at other members rides and I must say WOW! For I'm sure, most of you guys, like John, between work, family, friends, school, bills, and life you find the time to work on your trucks. To think up something new that no one else has and try to turn and everyday vehicle into a work of art. I guess that's where I got blindsided. I guess that's where I just didn't understand. Now, I do. Now I understand the time, hard work, money and most of all pride that goes into these trucks. Even though John's truck is under construction I can't wait untill he gets a tranny so I can take it out and drag the shit out of it and stand in that lot with our friends and have a good time! Cause in all honesty isn't that what it's all about? Friends, showing off and having a damn good time? Take pride in what you have boys, take pride in the little things you do to your truck-it's the little things that count and it's what make your truck unique. Take pride in your achivements and hard work to where you can say---yep I did that, I thought of that---I worked a 12 hour shift, put my family to bed and yet I got it done. If all you guys just stand back and take a look to your vehicle think to yourself---wow thats mine, all that hard work, time, money--all paid off. This is my truck, smile and take pride of your ride. I know I take pride in John and his little truck!

But what do I know I'm just a 23 year old girl in love with a minitrucker.
