reliability of newer drivetrains?

someone is tryin to sell me a 2000 2wd silverado 4dr (extended cab) with the 5.3 for 7k, but it was used as a company truck with 160k highway miles, power everything, str8 body, that seems like alot of miles though, anyone think its a deal, or would i just buy into a truck that is gonna fall apart soon?
