Firewall tub and clutch pedal

Wondering if anyone has had to modify their clutch pedal to clear a tub and how you went by doing it. Thought about doing it like a c notch but thought i'd check first.

Yeah you pretty much do it like a cnotch, hardest part( due to the tub being there) is figuring out how much the pedal needs to travel, then you find some matierial the same thickness, not smaller of the pedal assy. and cut out a c shaped piece, weld it where it needs to clear the tub then cut out like you were doing your frame, it might take more than one try, I had to do that but with brake pedals on a mighty max, took me about four tries before I got it where it worked like stock and cleared everything.
