Closing the Bed-weld solid

I looked around but couldn't find pics. Anyone know where I can find detailed pics of welding up the bed solid? I remember seeing in-progress pics of someone doing this...pics of the square tubing supports, etc. AND what guage sheetmetal is recommended for this? 14ga?
