Aftermaket DVD with factory radio HELP!

I have a 2000 Malibu with the factory radio with tape deck, but was wanting to know if I could add a dvd player I have and have it all work together? The dvd player only has the memory, power and ground on it the rest are all rca inputs and outputs. Can I just splice into the the factory wiring and would it work?
