ball joints or arms?

Do mazdas balljoints normally tend to bind up with stock rims. My front won't quite lay on my stock 14s with tires. I cant figure out if its the arms hitting where the crossmember used to be, or whether it is the balljoints binding. How do I go about finding out what it is?
