early 90's blazer gas tank in 96 up S-10

does anybody here have a latte 80's early 90's blazer gas tank in their 96-up S-10. if so can you use the stock blazer fuel pump or do you have to buy an after market one for it?

I put a 93 chevy blazer fuel tank(vin W, CPI 4.3L)) in a 99 S10 with 2.2L, the fuel pressure specs for the 2 vehicles are like 8 psi different. Not an issue the new pump will work a little harder and the pressure regulator will take care of the rest. What I am wondering is: has anyone else done this with the stock fuel pump module assembly and got the gas gauge to work? What did you do?

I know that the 93 sending unit reads
empty= 1 ohm
full= 88ohm

and the 99 S10 is:

empty at 40 ohms
and full at 250 ohms
