Pinion angle question

Now that my truck is dropped with the flip in the rear i get a weird clunking when i hit a bump. Its not bottoming out, i have long enough shocks, so i was thinking it was my driveshaft being forced in as the suspension compresses. I was wondering if i changed my pinion angle would it give me enough play to avoid this?
