Does rekeying torsion bars.....

Make your front end stiffer or just raise the "back brackets" so there out of the way? I just re-keyed mine and the front end seems alot stiffer now.

Would this be because i rekeyed them?orI put them 1/2 inch lower? orI rekeyed them so much that i only have like 1 or 2 threads showing between the frame and the mount. Could it be that when i hit bumps theres not enough room to "bounce" and it just hits the frame?

Let me know what you think..Also i put 3 inch blocks in the back and lowered the torsions. and the back isnt level..would this be due to fact that my shocks are 15 years old? (and blown)
