This is being posted my me because of what is happening in my former club Simple-Pleasurez
It's a copy of of my resignation letter to the club

So to start , seems no one is willing to post what is happening out here in California with Simple-Pleasurez ! A lot ! And none of it good!
After a lot of thought on the matter, I feel I must state this!
This all started with a new member (pledge) being treat wrongly. He had attended two out of the three consecutive meetings required, the third meeting was canceled!
He attended ,showed @ the next three shows in a row! And had asked @ two of them when the pledge sticker could come off & was given a very rude answer by the president!
Not what I thought was acceptable for any club!
At the third show ,last Saturday nothing was said ,though it was my plan for me & another member that felt the same way , to bring the subject up with most members ,if not all being there! The time never came about, & the show & day seemed fine ,except for the pledge not getting the problem brought to the memberships attention!
Two of us placed in the show & two of the girls ( women), also won raffle stuff! All of us being there for this ! At this time it seems most all of the members ,except for the three of us & two of the women, were left by all the rest of the club ! This was first brought to our attention when we got back to our rides, to find everyone gone! There were it seems reasons for this ,but I personally can not understand why not one single member could not have walked up to any of the three of us & stated that leaving @ that time would be needed!
Any & all clubs roll in together & roll out together! And leaving shows early shows no respect for the host club, or the winners !
Needless to say ,those of us left were shocked!
Upon getting home I called the Vice president, Chuck, whom could not be present, & expressed my feelings & concern for what had happened & all that lead up to this !
To my understanding members where that same night discussing the days happenings in the chat room. Things got real nasty in the chat room & things that should never have been said where, by all members there! Craig was told he would be got rid of as a past member ,Daniel! This all took place last Saturday night after the show!
It saddens me you say what follows! But in solidarity this most be done!
Simple -Pleasurez as lost three members in the last year due it seems the actions of one person! No vote ,no discussion @ meetings, no member input!
Now with this situation, Simple-Pleasurez has lost three more members! Craig, Harold & myself ! All of which have been very supportive of Simple- Pleasurez & it's members!
I've been a member sense 12-15-07, logoed @ our first Toy Drive, almost 4 years!
I would like too @ this time thank Chuck, who is the one who bought me into the club & all the members for excepting me (a old fuck),into their club. It has been fun rolling to
shows with everyone & being part of the club! And helping with your rides when I could!
I feel this club IS NOT & CAN NOT be of a family type club with what I have seen happen, & the treatment of it's members!
A loss for all involved!
A copy of this is being sent to Chuck, with photo's of the logo removal, & all SP items.
The three of us will stay involved & roll to shows together, without our club!
I hope this post will not be removed from the site, as has happened with others!
I intend on posting this @ other sites so the truth of this issue is known!
Contact me by phone or e-mail if needed, as after this post I will no longer visit Simple -Pleasurez's site!

Sincerely Gary Ellison/Truck Action

Ive been in Xtreme Lowz for 16 years. I started as a 17yr old newbie, who got little respect from the older members. Now I am a veteran and President of the San Diego chapter, who some other members look up to for advice. In my years of membership, Ive seen members and petitioners come and go. Some for good reasons, and some for bad. Some people have left because of other members. Some have left because we weren't as active as they thought. Some have left because they thought we were too active, and don't have the time for us. But there are always guys who are looking to get in. A club consists of many personalities and attitudes. Sometimes this arrangement of different people works great. And sometimes its a recipe for disaster. This recipe has been the foundation for many newer club's reason for beginning. Some of the biggest clubs were started because a guy or guys didn't like what was going on or not going on in their old club. So they left, and started a new club. My club has 19 chapters nationwide. Every chapter is ran by a President, and that President is responsible for the way the chapter is ran. Some Presidents make the decisions for the chapter. Some, like me, have the chapter vote on 97% of all decisions. I have found that this works best for us. With all of that said, most all clubs are like a family. They are made up of human beings. Some don't always have the club's best interest in mind. Sometimes guys just want to go home. Some guys are in no hurry to go anywhere. I personally am a self employed Tile contractor. I work very hard Monday through Friday. My time is very valuable to me, so I can understand if a member who knew he wasn't going to place, wants to go home early. We have no rule against it in my chapter, so I have no problem with it. I have been the only guy from Xtreme Lowz at the trophy ceremony before, collecting trophies for 3 other chapters. But I have also been at the ceremony with a handful of members who didn't even show. Everybody is different, and when you start getting too serious about our "hobby", that's generally when shit starts heading south. I'm writing this because I hate to see a club fall apart, or members leave it because of communication, or lack of. It sounds like you had your reasons Gary, as did the other guys. Maybe its time for you guys to start your own club, where you can set the values and rules that you 'd like the club to follow? Or find a club that is more like the idea you have of a family atmosphere. Whatever you do, stay in the scene, and keep going to shows. You have a bad-assed truck, and we can all tell where your heart is. Drive low and keep on truckin!

Thank you for your response you this issue. The three of us that have made this decision have no regrets.
I got a call from the VP,( he brought me in) , in regard that my post may hurt the club & the annual Toy Drive , as no one may want to come! This is not & was not my intention. I just want all current & future members to know what is going on & why!
As nothing is going up @ the club site & if it does it's gone before anyone sees it!

Thanks again & I will continue to do what I do ,build ,show , meet others with the same interest, etc!
