copper tubing for thomas 315s?

can i use 1/4" o.d. copper tubing from my 4 315s to the tank? someone said vibration will make it crack, would the comps cause enough vibration? also has anyone ever tried copper tubing with push to connect fittings? might be a dumb idea but i figured id ask before i spend too much $$..lol
