Stupid cash 4 clunkers!!!

A buddy of mine & I went junkin at a junk yard today & came across two 4Runner's that were a part of the Cash 4 Clunkers thing.

One is a light blue '93 that is in awesome shape! No dents, dings, or scratches. Chrome package, power everything, sunroof, tow package, & all parts are there, it looks like new except some wear & tear on the driver's seat (to be expected). Has 171k on a V6.

The other is a red '90-91 in okay shape. Body is straight & all parts are there and it only has 99k miles!

I want the '93 really bad! But they can't sell 'em.

Also, both motors are bad cause they had to put this "liquid glass" fluid stuff in it and run 'em til they blew.

There are a few yotas traded in by me. One is a 2000 fully loaded. Someone else did a 2001 4 door Taco. They are sitting in the junk yards.

The toyota store next to me had 5 4runners between 90-95 2 that were 96-99ish. All real nice. Hurt my feelings bad

most of the ones from my area went to pick n pull.... so, you might get lucky. I'm waiting for them to put this 4x4 toy in back so I can steal the wing windowed doors.

Thats where I found 'em. If I wanted it I can get the 4Runner front end (including fenders) for a little over $500.

oh yeah, I found a Lexus SC300 at a different junk yard on thursday that has a 2jz in it. But its blown cause of the stupid C4C crap.

yeah. I found an LT1 powered roadmaster, which you NEVER see in junkyards. everyone parts the motor before they junk em. Then I saw the note they put on it. course everything on the motor thats not touched by the oil probably wasnt effected at all.

Ive seen a few Toyota's here, but most of them are pretty much junk lol. Im still looking cause you never know
what youll find at a junk yard. Im mostly stocking up on the hard to find parts just to have spares.
