Any yotas have magnetos?

I'm building a 85 yota road race truck (weird huh?) and was wondering if any yotas came with a magneto. If I can get a magneto I can ditch the alternator, which would be nice. Jus wondering.

That would be cool. I like old hotrods and have been interested in using a magneto on a SBC V8. Sorry I couldn't be of any help but they are cool and expensive to order .

My dad has a magneto on a 6-71 supercharged SBC. Can't beat the reliability. Magnetos are cheap, not expensive. Unless you are using those MSD pro-mags. Those are $$$

I would like to find one. Can you point me in the direction of a cheap one? I imagine that SC SBC was a monster.
