I must say I will remember the LAST Resolutions truck run for the rest of my life. To show up at 10:00am on friday and see a packed campground gave me goose bumps. I pre-reg'd so I did'nt have to sit in those long lines, and it was straight to the front of the line for us. The guy who searched my truck was a member of Sunset truckers who asked me if I had any glass in my trailor. He was drinking a BudLight in a bottle.
Truck runs used to be real relaxed. They "asked" you if you had anything, you say no, and its into the run. Most trucks coming through the gate are packin contraband, but who wants to be a patry pooper. Just dont kill yourself or anyone else.
I made a left at the Severed camp and rolled through No Regrets camp to our back lot little piece of prime real estate that I call home. The Xtreme Lowz camp. Thats another thing about consistant shows that I love. Everybody knows where you will be camped even before you get there. I knew where the Freak of Nature were gonna be. Forbiden Fantasy, Concrete Deep, Acrophobia, Severd Ties, No Regerts and so on. I will miss that about this run for sure. And to see all of these clubs parked nuts to butts, like sardines, was a great thing. I would'nt be surprised to hear that the run doubled its numbers from the past Reso. I met A guy who came from Australia, a guy from Japan, a few from Colorado. We had people there from our Chico chapter. Thats like 12 hours driving to go party your ass off then go 12hrs home. Fuckin bad ass!!
This was the biggest Resolutions I can remember, and I have'nt missed one in 14 years. I was 16 at my first one. I had to use a permission slip from my parents to get in that said my club was responsible for me. Another club member would right 'em for me. And my parents thought I was "at a friends house".
Anyways, If you did'nt go to Reso, you really missed out. And if this is really the end, Im really glad I was able to make it, to party, show, and just kick it with old friends from other clubs and my own. Farewell old friend.

i believe as long as you had a parent you could. there were some younger kids there with parents... but like N2B said this was by far the best reso i have ever been. unfortunately ive only been lucky enough to make it to the last 6. you can show up to the gate and pretty much expect everything in the same place as it was the previous year. i think sunday for me was probably the hardest day , knowing that it was the last one and that next year i couldnt look forward to doing this all again. the farewell reso shirts were the shit i wish i could have gotten one. the picture on the back of them i thought pretty much told everyone that it really was the last reso. but i guess that just gives me and everyone else more time to get ready for fff in march. good times

Thats sucks, my dad was with me too. Is there a flyer or something on fff, maybe I could go to that one. Reso lined up perfect with chistmas break too. dang!
