S-10 4 LINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im installing a 4 link on my dime and i was wondering if i could start welding up the four link while the leaf springs are still on so i dont have to worry about messing with the pinion angle??? HELP!!!
