s10 owners!

well im in the process of finishing my baggin my truck, but i have a question. I have bell tech spindles, and slam rs62's with suicide doors cups on the stock control arms. the truck is still up on the jack stands but i jacked the control arm up and it is hitting the frame, it doesn't look like its gonna lay. should i cut the frame or the control arm while its on the stands, or should i wait till its on the ground?> btw i'm still running stock rims on 205/60/15's
