S-10 windshield upper molding..help

i am FINNALLY replacing my upper winshield molding on my 98 s10 even after 3 paint jobs ive driven it without it and now that rain is here my window is leaking....does anyone know if it just presses in or is it one that needs ot be installed with the windshield?
