Thats not a notch in the framerails. If you look close, its the old frame notch, cut to hold the new backhalf, leeps it straight. I'm assuming he'll be cutting the original backhalf out when hes done with the new one.

Yeah thats the old notch, when im finished all the welding i will put new plates in there to join the old chassis to the new.

This is where it stands today, Ive pretty much finished the 3" B/D, i just have to cut off the pinch so it will lay flat on the sills. I also have to cut some more out of the Tub. Also can one of the Mods move this into the Projects section. Thanks
