Lol, thanks.

So I broke my spotweld cutter, and can't finish the roof. I bought a high quality one that should come in on Friday for me to pick up. So today I decided to seam seal the cab. Waiting for it to dry so I can start laying down the sound deadener.

Laid down the seam sealer this morning. Once it dried I laid down some sound deadener. I like Fat Mat a lot better than Second Skin. Its easier to work with.

Once I put the roof back on I'll do the underside of that too.

Coming out awesome man! How much does that fat mat run? I need to start looking into sound deadening stuff and wasnt sure if I should go with dynomat or what.

I actually don't know. Gary (TruckAction) gave me a roll of it today. He was telling me that it has been proven to outperform Dynamat and is about 1/3 of the cost. One roll should be enough to do your entire cab.

arent you supposed to do that stuff on the doors as well?

Not really, but I'm going to. I'll put it on the inside of the doors, after I shave them. And also on the stamped part of the door, after I'm finished modifying them.

right on....doing that would make your components (if you run those) or just your door speakers in general sound crisper.
