Perpetual Construction?
I want to keep this truck forever. And to do so, I want to be 100% happy with it. Right now, I'm probably 45%. Even less with the carb issues.
I know that carb issue is painful, what i was getting to is you gonna completely tear the frame back down and re-powdercoat/paint?
I'm going to sell the frame under it if possible. Motor swap, 100% scratch built frame, shorter axle, full sway bars. I want a narrower track width so I can turn without having the truck aired up 10 inches. I'll do the motor swap then as well.
If I can't sell the frame as a roller I will part it out and cut the rest up into pieces. New frame will be painted.
Well I've got to admit after getting mine to where it sits now I look at it and wish I'd done a full frame as well. But I've decided that since I'm reasonably pleased with the outcome so far, I should stick to my game plan and continue on to fruition.
For my next, Its either gonna be a mild daily or an all out build. After my current build, I think it would be relaxing to do something basic. But then I've always got friends that need chassis' built now. Anyway, it's just metal, cut it up as you see fit, thats the fun part...
Yeah, I want something more mild, as far as the chassis goes. Something easier to keep clean. But I also want to be able to turn laid out, and not replace tires every 5K miles.
I just have to say that both of your trucks are amazing and I would be 98% satisfied with either.
Fuckin sic, love those pics
Keep the stock tails in
Truck's lookin awesome...has the police given you any shit for the tag placement?
I would think the same laws would apply, as Oregon and ETC. surrounding states. But I dunno... tag placement looks nice though.
