swapping of cabs and beds. ????S

i need this awsnered guys. heres whats up, my blue truck will be up n running n tagged n smogged before my yellow one. now i have a question. how hard is it to swap a long bed on to a short bed frame? both are single cabs and what are issues that are common with swapping of cabs?
