what to do?

so needless to say this was supposed to be my summer of showing and draggin and here i am in july truck still isn't done and i dunno what to do. Magnetic Minis bash is this weekend and I really wanted to go but I'm broke, I mean I could go but I'd be really streching what little money I do have left. My truck is at a friends shop and he now wants 350 for it being there too long and thats cool but he waited 2 weeks to mention it. so I have that to pay off and I have other bills to pay and I wanna get my truck on the road and thats 300 for inspection sticker and insurance. On top of that I wanna buy a new beater before college starts back up.

So should I say fuck MM pay off my debts and get the truck back on the road and save for my beater?
