Baggin a S-10 with AIM's Triangulated 4 Link?

Ok I know AIM is shit, but it's not my truck and it's not my money. I am having a problem with the canti part of the 4-link, 1st the holes were too far apart (I fixed that) and now the U-bolt hits the shock mount. Also The triangulated Pinion angle link needs about 4 more inches before it can be bolted onto the crossmember. Anyone have any solutions?
