87 blazer 2.8 problems?

all right i think the fuel pump went out , its been acting up for about a week then it just shut off on me going down the road today i just wanna make sure there is notthing i can do before i drop the gas tank and replace it. So is there a fuel filter on it some where cause i can't seem to find one of there is . I put gas in the Craburetor and it will start but soon as it burn out it cuts off . So help please LOL. im sorry im not good with motor stuff.
