disc changer not working

I just installed a pioneer dvd 7480 head unit in my car, everything works fine except the 12 disc changer, it's like it's not getting power. I am sure i've wired everything right, and i've tried different spots for grounds...

is there something i'm missing? I do'nt have the manual so maybe you have to turn it on through the head unit?
