Mounting Valves?

Ok, so what are some ways that you guys have mounted your valves? I mounted mine to som small plates that were welded to the frame. Well there was a big problem there(duh) when it came to wiring my setup. The valves were grounding themselves out. So what I did was used some plastic between the metal surfaces to keep them from doing so. I don't reall like how it all looks now b/c it doesn't look as clean. So I was wondering, what are some of the ways that everyone else does. I'm here in the Midwest(st.louis) and don't see too many Minis in person to check it out.
