Devious Customs gastank problem

I have step-side, extended cab 99 s-10. I recently put a hole in my gas tank, so i decided to buy the Devious Customs "drag proof" gas tank that is suposed to bolt right up. Well, it doesn't! I tried to follow the instructions but some of the stuff just doesn't fit like it does in the pictures. So now me and a friend of mine have to fab up all kind of shit to make it work. If anyone knows what the hell i might be doing wrong or has had the same problem with this tank please help me out.
