Thanks for the positive reinforcement, lol. I miss running stuff over in the 81:( But 13-15mpg wasnt worth it.

The celica tranny has inspired me to make a DD/street truck. I wanna lower it a few inches but keep the ride and truckablity. Not sure what route to take in the rear....Do blocks cause axle wrap or rough ride in the rear?

Got some integra seats and carpet for the interior, Thats my next project.

Actually phatboi it is. A little lower would be cool, but i dont think the ride would be very nice dropped any lower static wise. Hows she ride right now, with the spindles and blocks?

That was the route i was thinking of going...

Have your Leafs dearched with like a 2" block and put air shocks in it. Then after that you'll get so used to it you'll end up wanting to lay it out on the pavement.

When you crank the tortions down, does it ride softer or harder?

I tinted the side windows with 35%, been working on the interior and lowered the rear with some blocks, i'll post some pics when im done leveling it out. For some reason the whole "driver" side is one inch higher than the "passenger" side...Was like that before the blocks, any ideas?

I had an 86 just like yours. Even the same color! I threw some 4" blocks in the back and let the torsion bars all the way out. It rode like a cinder block! I cut the bump stops in half. I sold it to friend after a couple of weeks of rearend bruising. I don't really believe axle wrap is a problem though considering the amount of HP you're dealing with.
