F.B.I parts not fitting

anyone have any trouble with FBI rollpans not fitting? Its for my 98s10. its way too long (like 2 inches) and the top lip is about an inch too tall. ALso the tailight fillers need to be rolled or something so they fit also. Just wondering i this is a common procedure.
