sponsership

i don't work at a shop or no anyone that does really, well shops that do minitrucks and fabricating, i like to do it all on my own cuz that way i feel more accoplished but i was wondering if there was a way i could get sponsered for a truck i was to build. i have seen friends and such but never really asked how they got it, so tell me how you got sponsered for your project?
