Adobe Illustrator Questions, Can anyone help?

Ok, a while back i had asked how some of you guys do your graphics. I was told to use Adobe Illustrator. Now im fairly familiar with photoshop, but not illustrator, can someone walk me through a flame job, or some tribal work. Examples would be great. Thanks.
