blazer help

hey, i know this was a topic earlier, but i cant find it.. anyways, i saw a thread about the gound on s10 tail lights, and if its no connected the truck wont start (or something like that).. does this hold true on a blazer (95)??? and if so, would you have some power, just not enough to get it cranked? any help is appreciated.. if its not this, then the battery is completely dead, bc i cant even get the bitch to jump....
