sounds like your check valve,I've heard quite a few complaints that they just stop working after a while,(the smc check valves)a bad check valve will let all your air supply leak back through your compressor and out the intake filter.(this can also happen with a viair compressor)a check valve only lets air travel 1 way.check out waylayed.com ,there rock star check valves look nice+have a lifetime warranty.they come in 1/2in 3/8in & 1/4in

ok,but if your check valve is bad,air will still leak out your new compressor also.let us know if the new compressor fixed it/what the problem was.

I DONT HAVE A CHECK VALVE OTHER THAN THE ONE THATS IN THE COMPRESSOR...AND THATS WHAT IM THINKING IS BAD, I TALKED TO ONE OF MY MASTER TECHS AT WORK AND HE KINDA CONFIRMED WITH ME THATS WHATS GOING ON. NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT, I PROBABLY SHOULD GET A CHECK VALVE TO GO IN BETWEEN THE COMP AND TANK...LET YALL KNOWMONDAY ABOUT HOW THE SWAPPING OF THE COMP WENT...

every edc setup I've ever seen had a check valve between the edc and the tank.I don't see how it worked up until now...but never messed with a sanden.did you get it from airlift? I'm thinking airlift's edc's have been tore down and replaced with hardened internals to with stand the higher pressure it was never meant to see,may have added a check valve in there too...Idk,but regardless a new check valve would definitely fix your air leak problem.
