Does not gave year of truck ( suicide door article),thinking a 89-95 model! Mine a 88(84-88) the door frames are different!
Also does any one know if this shop is still open? Tried to call them.just rings!

Haha. No, that shop closed up along time ago. It was owned and opperated by Brian Jendro. A minitruckin pioneer and auto customizing legend. I know that the technique used is exactly the same. Brian did that mod on a 87 extra cab in my chapter of XL. That truck is in the paint shop right now for a unditermined amount of time, so I cant get pics. I know that Brian used 2 sets of doors to do 1 set of suicide doors, so he didnt have to be exact with his cutting apart of the doors. He'd cut and switch the ends cadi-corner from each other. so the passengerside latch is where the driverside hindge used to be, and so on. He did a few this way, and had no problems. Aaron Iha at "Chassis by Iha" is also very familiar with this mod. He has also designed a suicide door hindge that opens the door into the door jam, like what a stock door does. But if you trully want it to look stock but suicide, you do the mod you are askin about. Maybe giva Aaron a call?
