haveing problem with engin! help plz

well i picked up an 87 4wd pick up that sat for 9yrs i got it to start and run good but as soon as it warms up it stalls it doesn't want to stay running its a 22r i was told it may be the choke so i wired it open and it still stalls when its hit op temp im at a stand still i want to get it running good to make a daily but i got no time to search the web to figure it out cuz i got two jobs thanks in advance for any info
