Just a question here...

I'm not doing this or anything, not yet at least, but I was just wondering about how you would figure out where to put the bag brackets on the front? How do you determine the proper angle for the upper bag plate? How do you determine how high on the frame you should mount the upper plate? Does the height of your upper plate determine how low you go or not?? Just some questions....trying to be a sponge here!!

Hell no, that's awesome man, and I really appreciate it. Lot of good info to digest. I was always taught that it is better for a bag to be sitting perfectly flat that to have it sit with the lower plate at an angle. I was told this ruins the bags themselves. My taco sat like that and the bags were pretty f'd, so I kinda took it to be true. I get what you're saying about getting the upper and lower brackets even all through travel, cuz mine aren't that way. I leveled off the lower plates a little, and it sits more even now (bag), but now it has a gnarly angle when it's aired up. Reason I'm getting at all of this is once I'm able to get the bodied 92 out of the garage, I wanna bring the taco in and re-bag and re-plumb the truck. Thanks for the info.

Glad I could help, on my rebuild project at compressed the angles of the plates will only be off by 5 degrees and at ride height only off 5 degrees almost even, I'll get some pictures to help. I didn't know if what I wrote would make sense

So you're saying the upper plate and the bottom plate are at a 5 degree difference aired up and aired out?

Yeah, like at mock up aired out the plates were at the same angle, then at ride height the lower bag plate changed 10 Degrees so I just adjusted the top bag plate -5 degrees so it would be 5 degrees off aired up, or aired out to make the difference as small as possible and look good aired out.
